The Magic of a Visual Schedule: Your Day, Your Way

Ever feel like your day is a bit of a whirlwind? Especially with our neurodivergent kids, a little structure can make a world of difference. Don’t panic, though! It's not just about ticking boxes (although for some this is the end goal; providing a sense of purpose and achievement); it's about creating a sense of calm in the chaos, and we all need a dose of that, don’t we?

That's where visual schedules come in handy - think of them like a gentle roadmap for the day, helping our kids (and us!) know what to expect - ultimately reducing anxiety and creating a sense of calm.  Our very own friendly guide, making the day feel a little more predictable and manageable.

Remember, it's not about rigid routines; it's about creating a visual guide that makes life a little smoother. Even a little picture or symbol can make a massive difference

Have you tried a visual schedule? Share your tips in the comments! Let's learn from each other. 💛
